St. Colette Parish
was established by Bishop James Hickey, of the Diocese of Cleveland, on July 1, 1977, to commemorate the centenary of the arrival of the Poor Clares in the Diocese.
Saint Colette was born at Corbie, France, in 1380.
She reformed the third Order of St. Clare. She reformed many houses, and founded others, before her death, which tookplace at Ghent in 1447.
Father Thomas Montavon is the founding pastor and is responsible for the building of the Church, the Rectory, Atrium and Office complex and garage facility.
The present pastor is
Fr. Wm. Krizner who was assigned here after 22 years as the Chaplain of Holy Name High School.
May we serve You, O Lord, in our various ministries with hearts grateful for Your Call. May we be servants to our sisters and brothers and do all things happily in the Name of Your Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, HE who came to serve.
  St. Colette, pray for us.
If you are interested in serving as an Usher or Lector, please call the parish office!
We can always use the help!     Thank You!
God Bless all those who serve the needs of our parish. Blessings to those who volunteer so many hours and dedication. God Bless those who keep our office, work on our grounds and within the building. Those who tend to our 'church' as they would their own homes.
God be present to all who enter our Church: May they see in us the Face of Christ. May we always be a 'welcoming community of believers'!
Give thanks to Almighty God for the good things He has done for us!
